Work

Luke Forzley is a contemporary 3D artist whose work explores the aesthetics of entropy and the architecture of the afterlife. Specializing in high-fidelity digital rendering, Luke constructs somber, atmospheric landscapes and character studies where reality is caught in a state of permanent dissolution.Their recent series, Mausoleum, features fractured porcelain figures draped in heavy, burial cloth—silent inhabitants of a world defined by its stillness and decay. By focusing on forlorn themes and the beauty of the broken, Luke challenges the pristine nature of digital media, instead finding the sublime within the ghost and the ruin. Each work is released as a strictly limited edition, bridging the gap between digital data and archival physical artifact.

Video

Ever piece is painstakingly 3D modelled into a composition.

Every object is textured and the scene is lit. Dust or fog is added to allow the light to scatter, giving the atmosphere fullness as if you could take a breath of the air and feel the elements in your lungs.

Brushstrokes, details and textures are painted in to give the piece proper flow and blending, easing the stiffness and breathing life and motion into it.

Finally, the piece is rendered onto a giclee print using archival quality materials.
